Mike Stramaglio

President & CEO

Mike Stramaglio

Mike Stramaglio has a long history of leadership in the Office Equipment industry. Over his nearly 30-year career, Mike has served as president and COO of Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions, Inc., and held senior management positions with Minolta Corporation and Ricoh Corporation. Under his stewardship, Hitachi earned the prestigious Most Innovative Manufacturer of the Year award for two consecutive years. He was also formerly CEO of Imaging Portals, Inc., and a two-time winner of the Executive of the Year award, presented by Marketing Research Consultants, Inc. Mike joined Electronics For Imaging as General Manager of EFI's Service Automation division in 2003. In this role, Mike was responsible for Automated Dispatch Systems and the Intelligent Device Management solution set, bringing them together under a new name: Mobile Workforce Automation.

In acknowledgment of his experience and expertise, M2M Magazine elected Michael T. Stramaglio as M2M Technology Advisor (Imaging) in early 2007.

Hiro Ueda

Senior VP of R&D/Business Development

Hiro Ueda

Hiro Ueda takes responsibilities in a couple of areas for MWA Intelligence to expand distribution and product portfolio. Hiro is heading up business development initiatives which include establishing MWAi's M2M/M2P business in Japan and other Asian countries as well as developing and growing partnerships with Japanese manufacturers in office equipment and other vertical markets. His second line of responsibility is corporate planning to set strategic goals and provide business-critical management data and financial analysis.

Since joining a Japanese trading company following graduation from Hiroshima University in Japan, he has served in a variety of roles, such as sales, market, product manager, project management and business development for international companies in both Japan and the U.S.

Steve Laughey

Steve Laughey joined our team in January 2005 as the VP of Sales. Steve brings more than 25 years of experience in sales leadership and management.

Prior to joining MWA Intelligence, Steve was responsible for monochrome and color sales initiatives at Konica/Minolta which represented $330M in annual revenue as Director of Dealer Sales. In that role, he led a sales team of more than 40 employees. During his twenty-four years at Konica/Minolta, Steve also played a critical role in establishing strategic sales planning, sales promotions, training programs, sales tools and achieving major account program development and management.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Belmont Abby College, North Carolina.

John H. Brostrom

Executive Vice President of Operations/Customer Care and Engineering

John H. Brostrom

As Executive Vice President of Operations/Customer Care and Engineering, John is responsible for MWAi’s Customer Care division, strategic account management, MWAi University, IT infrastructure and Engineering. John has extensive industry knowledge and 26 years of leadership in customer relations, operations, product development and fulfillment, help desk, educational services and team development.

Previously, John was the President of ECi La Crosse division from 2007 to 2009 and the President and Owner of La Crosse Management Systems, Inc. since 1993. Prior to that, John held the position of Director of Research & Development and Trainer with La Crosse Management Systems, Inc., and Store Manager with MicroAge Computer Centers of La Crosse.

John earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Viterbo University, La Crosse, Wisconsin. He is also a board member for the Viterbo University Business Department and a board director for the Dahl School of Business, La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Sue Springer

Vice President, Finance & Human Resources

Sue Springer

Sue Springer brings a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience in accounting, finance and human resources to the MWA Intelligence team. She began her career as a Controller with ADS in July of 1999. Prior to that, she held a variety of accounting and financial management positions with an office equipment dealer in Nashville, TN, in a tenure that spanned almost two decades.

Currently, Sue has the responsibility for all human resource initiatives related to MWA Intelligence's workforce, including recruitment, payroll, training, compensation and benefits. In addition, she is in charge of all accounting and financial transactions.

Sue holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Tennessee State University and has more than 15 years of expertise utilizing a variety of ERP software applications.

Gavin Williams

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Gavin Williams joined MWA Intelligence in June of 2009 as Director of Sales.  Since that time Gavin has provided initiative for both sales and marketing growth for MWAi.  As Vice President of Sales and Marketing Gavin is now managing the overall marketing strategies and global sales at MWAi.  

Gavin has 15 years technology experience beginning in the late 90’s. He owned his own computer and network services company in Montana while attending college.  After graduating in 1999 he moved to Arizona and began his career in the copier industry.  Over the course of the next decade Gavin worked at IKON, he began at IKON PD&F in Scottsdale, AZ eventually moving to the IKON Tempe Sales Branch in 2004.  In 2007 he took over a sales team in outlying Arizona, continuing until his departure in 2009.  Adding to his field experience he also served as the VP of Sales with a independent copier dealer until his move to MWAi.

Gavin earned is Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Carroll College in Helena, MT.

Shane Hannan

Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Shane Hannan

Shane serves as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, for MWA Intelligence, where he implements and supports strategic initiatives related to expanding revenue opportunities, vendor partners and product marketing. Prior to joining MWAi, Shane was a Director at Print Control Software, Inc, managing the company’s operations, strategic development and vendor partnerships with a focus on revenue growth. Before joining Print Control Software, he held positions as Product Marketing Manager and Product Development Manager for IKON Offices Solutions. While with IKON, he was responsible for delivery of IKON’s corporate marketing to Western Region staff and sales teams, as well as reviewing new color technology.

Shane got his start in the printing industry as an Apprentice Compositor for Consolidated Press in Australia. After becoming a tradesman, he started Expo Graphics, which won a 1986 NSW Small Business Award. He also co-founded Southside Offset Printing in Sydney. Shane holds certificates in Hand & Machine Composing and Business Management and is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Management.
